Grade 5

Students in grades 3-5 receive instruction in introductory research skills, as well as readings and discussions which echo skills taught in their ELA classes. These sessions enable our students to grow and develop as independent and critical readers and users of literary and information resources.

This year marks our return to Makerspace (STEAM & hands-on activities with ties to classroom and literary themes), Coding and Robotics lessons. Although we are thrilled to return to in-person learning this year, we will be following CDC and local guidelines when it comes to material use: particularly using individual kits to limit the sharing of items.
